Very high quality build.- Fully documented build w/original frame & suspension engineering blueprints- Corvette brakes on front & rear, adjustable QA1 coilovers, authentic GT-40 style roll bar suspension- Corbeau racing seats, 4-point 3" harnesses, detachable steering wheel- Radio, A/C system, heater, wipers... see below for more details Chassis: The body is a rare and desirable Kellison GT40K fiberglass body. The body was sold in the 60's and 70's by Kellison for a VW beetle frame. A mechanical engineer custom-designed the frame and suspension of this car to fit a 4.3L V6 into the body. It is a very high quality build, including custom-fabricated aluminum sheetmetal under the hood, engine compartment, and even venting under the dashboard. The tube frame is a TIG welded steel chassis with an integrated roll cage. The frame and suspension were engineered on paper, then assembled in a shop. I have the original paper blueprints for the frame/suspension design, as well as digital copies. Suspension/Brakes: The front and rear suspension were modeled after the original GT40. Suspension uses double A-arms with fully adjustable chromed QA1 coilovers. The roll bars and suspension links use heim joints for a very solid ride. Dual master cylinder system with adjustable balance bar. Fuel contained in racing fuel cell under clamshell front hood. Air Conditioning
