1983 VW Vanagon "Westy!" Original. Air cooled engine. 2.0-liter, engine with fuel injection. Starts, runs, drives. Westfalia camperversion with integrated kitchen, complete with refrigerator, a two burner stove,and stainless steel sink. New alternator,tires and clutch. Good shocks and brakes. Odometer reads164882, actual mileage unknown. Body is clean and dry. There's a littlerust around the edges, some small dents and dings, and some prior minorbodywork. Overall, this van is in good condition for its age. Original "AssuanBrown" exterior color. Flowers optional. (They're magnets and can be easilyremoved.) This is a classic, and it turns a lot of heads going down the road. Ihave service records for the past two years. I'm not the original owner. Ihave used it for summer camping here in Alaska. This is an extremely nice running and driving bus. it really does run and drives as good as it looks. It brakes very well with the new front power assisted disk brakes, it drives straight down the road with out all the typical sloppy play in the steering. The new engine starts right up and runs smoothly at all driving speeds, the transmission is very quiet and doesn't make any funny sounds in any gear and shifts effortlessly, all doors open and close properly, all the new rubber seals make for a nice quite, weather tight ride. The electrical system has been gone through and is in perfect working order. New 8 ply side wall tires help handling and safety. The 2 stage paint job has been sanded and buffed to a nice glossy finish that looks awesome! Restored Gas Tank , All New Brakes Except Master Cylinder , New Clutch Cable , New Fuel Pump , New Window Regulators , New Front Door Handles , New Headlights And Rear Lights Plus Housings ,new German Hubcaps ,new German Oil Cooler , New Cv Joints And Tune Up Parts. This Bus Is No Longer Fuel Injected And Was Converted By Previous Owner From Florida To A Weber Carb . mileage Is Not Known As Spedo Cable Was Broken( Now Fixed ) When I Got Vehicle . Now This 40 Year Old Bus Is Not Perfect And Still Needs Work But It Drives Nice , Changes Into All Gears No Problem. the Canopy Up Top Is Bad And I Have No Spare Wheel.

Has 89,806 miles showing, however the owner is not sure of the exact mileage. The vehicle is in pristine condition (professionally restored in 2012). This is the original color by vin. I am selling this vehicle for a collector that is downsizing his collection. This Volkswagen has air conditioning and blows very cold (not charged at the moment) and the A/C system does leak some condensation in cab when on extreme low. The motor has been rebuilt in 2010. The tire size is 185/65/R15. These are not the original wheels. The bed of the transporter has been Rhino sprayed. The dashboard and interior are flawless. This vehicle has been in a climate controlled warehouse at a temperature of 75 degrees year round. This vehicle has never seen snow and is rust-free. Excellent opportunity to own a rare factory produced 1969 vw bus with the coveted Z-Bed and factory sunroof. Also as a Deluxe model she came with the easily removable factory step/running board. Amazing service history records and documentation. Original factory owners manual and even includes the original owners plastic VW owners card. Its like a comfy couch. The inner mechanism is all in excellent condition. All of the door panels in the bus are factory original, as is the dash and in unbelievable condition for its age. The headliner received a light cleaning only and small repairs where needed. New radio antenna and extension included. Even the original sunvisors with mirror are in excellent condition. Interior door handles, door pulls, and window cranks all original which shows the great original condition. The steering wheel is original and in great condition. Tools original to the bus included and have been treated in durable heat treated finish. The bumpers are original to the bus and were in excellent non damaged condition, even the front rubber bumper rubber step pads are original. New front door handles with pair of matching keys. All other handles and locks are original to the bus as is the ignition and all keyed with the VW factory keys. New windshield wipers have been installed. All the glass is excellent and as mentioned the front windshield is brand new. Even the original rubber floor mats in front cabin and cargo area are original material. Sunroof/Moonroof

This is a very nice bus in great shape. I have the clean Louisiana Title in hand and in my name. It has never left me stranded on the side of the road and always starts right up. It runs and drives like a dream; especially with the new tires (BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO LT195/75R14). When I got the bus it had standard passenger car tires on it and it felt like I was riding on marshmallows... It's so much easier to steer now and these All Terrains make it look tougher. I also replaced the spare too so there are 5 brand new identical tires to put into rotation. It has always been serviced by a reputable VW mechanic and has always been given a clean bill of health with good compression. All of the bus's camping systems work: fridge, electrical outlets, and propane stove. All of the cushions are in great shape with no major rips or stains. Some things I have fixed/replaced on the bus: - Five Brand New Tires- Brand New Spare Tire Cover- New Starter (Two years old)- New Fuel Line- CD Player works- Replaced Windshield Wiper Fluid Lines- New Propane Main Valve- Swivel Passenger Seat Serviced and Spins Easily- Sliding Door Adjusted/Lubed and Closes Easily The paint is about 5 years old and is in good shiny shape. There are 2 little bubble spots (quarter sized) and the biggest rust. CD Player
